Lisaa partnership – Théâtre du Rond Point

.Lisaa students worked on a scenography project for Olivier Py’s play « L’eau de la vie ».

Once upon a time a king was very ill and no one thought he would survive. The king had three sons and all three set off on a quest to find the only remedy that would save their father : the water of life … Inspired by a Brothers Grimm fairy tale, « L’eau de la Vie » treats major, timeless subjects : desire, war, death, beauty …

A mock-up, a presentation panel and an animated, 3D film

This children’s play was performed at the Théâtre du Rond Point. For the occasion, Lisaa students, working in groups of two, three or four, proposed scenographies. Each project included a mock-up, a presentation panel and an animated 3D film.

Theatre scenography is a very particular discipline. Lisaa students presented a well-thought-out,  interpretation for the play. But they were also required to produce a realistic mock-up that took into account the restrictions of both the production and the realization.
