Over five days in April, with 2465 exhibitors, the new exhibition park took on the air of an immense playing field offering endless propositions for new interior design or re-issues of furniture for living rooms, bathrooms and offices.

A gigantic glass and steel city located a few kilometers from the heart of the Lombard capital, in the Rho Pero district, welcomed, for the first time this year, Milan’s International Furniture Salon.

Within the salon, « Satellite », an area reserved for young designers looking to meet furniture editors, allowed students to observe the industry’s different phases and meet its many players : plus an opportunity to speak with industry professionals.

In parallel to the salon, major Italian and international furniture producers and young designers organize Showrooms (approximately 300) throughout the city, in cellars or warehouses, on the street or in the most incongruous places. These monumental spaces translate the importance of design in Italy and the world.
