Imagineering France Contest : Lisaa-Rennes wins two prizes

 
Lisaa students stood out for the quality of their presentations and the commercial potential of their projects.

DuPont de Nemours’ Imagineering program’s goal is to promote technical polymers in the creative world. The program has existed since 1988. Every two years, the Imagineering Grand Prize contest asks students in creative professions to conceive new products using technical polymers.

The 2003/2004 contest theme was : « Comfort and function in the living environment ».

First and third prize

First prize (5000 euros) : was given unanimously to Marie Guinement and Cédric Cheux of Lisaa-Rennes. Their project, a multi-use collander, seduced the jury with its excellent presentation, its inventivity in relation to an existing object and its strong commercial potential.

Third prize (2000 euros) : awarded to Kevin Madec and Arnaud Collet of Lisaa-Rennes, for a flexible coat rack, more practical for closed garments.

« An interesting commercial potential »

Prizes were awarded at the International Design Biennial at Saint Etienne. The jury noted that « the quality of the projects presented has considerably improved. Many of them, particularly the first prize, offer interesting commercial potential. »
