« P.S.I. » won the playability prize and « Bollyjazz » won the graphic design prize
Honoring the best, year-end work done with Virtools creation software for a 3D real time universe, the 3D3 contest (pronounced 3D Cube) validates schools’ and students’ video game works.
« P.S.I. » prize for playability
« P.S.I. » is a « beat them all » collaborative game for two people : two, linked-up characters must advance together to launch combined attacks. Collaborative sequences follow moments where the two players must defy and confront one another. The game’s originality and fluidity seduced the jury.
« Bollyjazz » : graphic design prize
Bollyjazz is an inquest game mixing the Saint Germain jazz world with Bollywood musicals. Crazy decorations, shimmery colors and exuberant design convinced the 3D3 jury to give the graphic design prize to a game that admits to retro inspirations (Monkey Island, Zak Mac Kraken…)
A game created by Julien Fort, Jennifer Fritiau, Hugo Braco and Saida Mirzoeva
Lisaa already won awards in earlier editions of 3D3
This is not the first time that 3D3 honored video games by Lisaa students : in 2005 « Lili et les sphères de l’oubli » won the script prize. In 2004, « Micro-Organik » won the grand prize while « Youpi Chibi Folies » received the playability prize.
