This work was done in parallel by both Paris and Rennes graphic design classes. L’Orangerie, built in 1829, is one of the most important buildings in Lyon’s « Parc de la Tête d’Or » ; Since 1995, it has housed the city’s contemporary art museum.
The proposed subject placed Lisaa students in real work conditions as if they were part of a design agency : in twelve hours, they had to make a complete visual identity proposal including poster, conference brochure and invitation. Students covered the entire sequence from creation to execution, and, at the end of the workshop, gave the printer a finished CD of their work.
The creative direction proposed was « Man and Plants ». Students could depict the meeting of these two elements in any way they chose : co-habitation, grafting, confrontation, mutation, etc.
