Communication through images
and graphics plays a central role in our civilization – press, internet, audiovisual, illustration, advertising, product packaging, commercial logos, design and presentation of television images, publishing and book illustration are all an integral part of our daily lives.
A graphic designer manages editorial content (for institutional, advertising or computer use) which he produces on various media: print, packaging, and interactive media products. His involvement in developing communication grounds may influence a part or all of the graphic design chain from the medium used to follow-up of fabrication in passing through rough sketches, use of creative softwear and preparation of production documents for printing, electronic publishing, or multimedia production.
Our teachers are all recognized professionals who help students master different fine arts techniques and computer technology linked to audiovisual arts. Teachers introduce students to varied methods of creation, and assist them in expanding their outlook on cultural imagery and graphics.
There is a double objective: to provide our students with professional-level technical skills, and to guide them towards expressing their own personal style.
Training at Lisaa includes
two years of intensive studies. Admissions are based
on an interview and presentation of a portfolio of personal
work. Candidates must also have completed the Lisaa
foundation year or that of a comparable institution
providing the necessary bases for the Lisaa Graphic
Design - Illustration - Audiovisual - Multimedia course
programs. At the end of the studies, an optional post-graduate
year is possible.
