The play tells the story of a community cut off from the world, lost on a desert island. At the end of the first act, a volcano erupts and the main character finds himself in Industrial Revolution England for the second half of the play.

Lisaa students’s projects consisted first on reflecting about and then appropriating Zinnie Harris’s work. Their scenographies are the result of their analyses of « Plus Loin que Loin » and their choices.

A complete project

Besides a mock-up emphasizing the duality of the play’s two acts, Lisaa students designed the poster and a video evoking the play’s visual and sound mood.

Sandrine Lanno and Joëlle Watteau helped the scenography project. Sandrine Lanno is currently directing « Plus loin que loin » at the Théâtre du Rond Point.
