Open to graduates of Lisaa’s 2D or 3D animation or Video Game programs, the third cycle « Management of Digital Animation and Production Techniques » is a complementary study for acquiring the transversal techniques of a project manager.
• 4 semesters of a traditional, university Masters program are united in a single, 16-month study cycle.
- Technicity : students further develop their software mastery by combining 2D/3D techniques in complex projects and optimizing propositions in terms of quality and a professional work calender.
- Originality : it is imperative to constantly innovate and to understand how to satisfy different publics. Film content can be developed in formats ranging from cinema to cell phone viewing.
- Experience : the 3rd cycle’s objective is to capitalize on experience by simulating a company environment, an internship offers students an understanding of company work rhythms..
- Transversality : Lisaa’s 3rd cycle trains project managers and high-level creative technicians for transversal jobs.
• Phases 1 and 2 : professional simulator and seminars
- Studio simulator : a project and organization unique for a school.
- Objective : the 3rd cycle’s goal is to acquire a true transversal experience in order to master the specifics of the project manager’s job.
- Project : students direct a TV series. After having conceived advanced animation and the episode’s visual screenplay concept, they direct a pilot for a full episode or test animation.
- An organization : students group together in a production team comparable to a professional studio. This organization method allows them to learn key competences and discover the specialties best matching their particular character and strengths.
- Facilities : the area designated for this workshop includes a workroom, computer lab and meeting room for production management.
• Phases 3 and 4 : professional integration
- Internship (phases 3 and 4) : our students undertake a long internship supervised by a tutor/internship advisor. They participate in complex production projects. As part of a professional team, they apply the creative, technical solutions and organizational responses they have learned during their studies. This required experience is a plus as they seek key positions in the industry.
- Seminars (phase 4) : two long modules facilitate the graduates’ recruitment for jobs corresponding to their profile and give them an efficient, clear view of their profession : Professional Culture and Professional Recruitment.

• Admission requirements
- Admission requirements : Diploma from 2D or 3D animation or Video Game school
- Admission : Following interview and presentation of portfolio
- Length of studies : 16 months from September 2008 to December 2009.
- Registration : after passing the selection process, registration form and required documents must be returned with the registration fee : 380 euros.
- Required documents : 1 photocopy of identity document – 4 photos (write last and first name on back) – 6 stamps at current postage rates – school certificate
- Fee : Complete 3rd cycle : 6 775 euros
